Office Experience:
Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of foot and ankle pathology both surgically and conservatively, average 15-20 patients per day. Current schedule includes four days a week treating office patients and one day a week performing in office procedures and surgeries.
Treats conditions including bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, sports related injuries, tendon injuries, fractures of the foot and ankle, diabetic wounds, skin and nail conditions of the foot and ankle, soft tissue masses, flat foot, arthritis.
Performs in office procedures including partial and full nail avulsions, flexor tenotomies, casting for custom orthotics, Qutenza patch application, graft applications, biopsies, wound debridements.
On Call Experience:
Manages on call responsibilities including inpatient and emergency department consults at both Yale New Haven Hospital and St Raphael Hospital.
Performs inpatient evaluation and surgical treatment of common conditions including gas gangrene, osteomyelitis, fractures of the foot, gunshot injuries, diabetic foot wounds, cellulitis.
On call provider at Yale New Haven Hospital, and St Raphael Hospital (foot surgery), scheduled for 7 weeks in current year.
Teaches and works with residents at Yale New Haven Hospital program.
Practices compassionate care of patients with special consideration of individual patient circumstances and treatment goals, placing emphasis on communication and collaboration with patients.

SURGICAL RESIDENCY
RESIDENT PHYSICIAN (PGY3-Chief), St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Hartford, CT, July 2019 – June 2022

Outpatient Surgical Clinic:
Participated in a resident run surgical clinic at St Francis Hospital and Medical Center, where patients with all manners of forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle pathology presented for surgical evaluation.
Residents were responsible for preoperative planning and all post-operative care.
Outpatient Wound Care Clinic:
Outpatient experience in Resident run wound care clinic at the Gengras Podiatry Clinic at St Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
This included working with certified prosthetist and orthotist for development of orthotics and braces.
On Call Experience:
Completed over 200 days on call at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
On call responsibilities included admitting and managing primary patients to the Podiatry service as well as emergency room and inpatient consults with both traumatic and infectious etiologies for over 20 Podiatric attendings associated with St Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Medical and Surgical Rotations: Plastic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, Emergency Medicine, Vascular Surgery, General Surgery, Dermatology, Radiology, Rheumatology, and Behavioral Health.
Academic and Surgical Skills Workshops:
Co-resident moderator of academic and surgical skills workshops(2021) which entailed organizing training events between residents, attendings, and various company representatives.
These included cadaver workshops and saw bone workshops.
Topics included but were not limited to suturing, total contact casting, injections, ankle fracture reduction and fixation, ankle scopes, bunion procedure selection.
